What is a cookie and what is it for?

A cookie is a small file that is sent to the browser and saved on the user’s device, when accessing and using the website www.ineo.it below , briefly (“Site”).

Cookie allow an efficient functioning of the Site and improve its performance, including through the collection and analysis of aggregate information, which allow INEO SRL, as Data Controller (hereinafter, Data Controller or INEO) to understand how to improve the structure of the Site and its sections.

Moreover, through cookie, it is possible to collect information for statistical purposes, mainly to personalize the user’s browsing experience, remembering his preferences.

WHAT COOKIE DO WE USE?

Technical cookie

Technical cookie can be divided into navigation or session cookie, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the Site (allowing, for example, to coordinate the modules that make up the pages of the Site or correlate the pages visited to the same work session) and analytics cookie, comparable to technical cookie only if: i) are only used to produce aggregated statistics and in relation to a single site or mobile application; ii) at least the fourth component of the IP address is masked for third parties; iii) third parties refrain from combining analytics cookie, thus minimized, with other processing (customer files or statistics of visits to other sites, for example) or transmitting them to other third parties. However, third parties are allowed to produce statistics with data relating to multiple domains, websites or apps that can be traced back to the same publisher or business group.

The use of session cookie is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) and software usage data necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing of the site: the variables (c.d. cookie) session can avoid the use of computer techniques potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user. Session cookie are not stored persistently on the user’s device, but are recorded locally for periods of time set according to session variables (whose values stored on the hard disk of the device can still be erased; you can also disable cookie by following the instructions provided by the main browsers).

Third-party cookie

Third-party cookie are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting and reside on servers other than the one of the site visited. Therefore, the use of the data collected by these external operators through cookie is subject to their respective privacy policies.

How can I change or disable cookie?

Communication and dissemination of data

The data collected using cookie may be processed by employees and collaborators of the corporate functions responsible for the pursuit of the purposes indicated above, which have been expressly authorized to process and have received appropriate operational instructions.

The Data Controller does not transfer the collected and processed data to a country not part of the European Economic Area or to an international organization.

In any event, if necessary, the Data Controller guarantees that the transfer of personal data will take place on the basis of adequate guarantees and/or on the basis of adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission in time to those countries that guarantee an adequate level of protection, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

Rights of data subjects

By sending an e-mail to privacy@ineo.it you can ask the Data Controller for access to the data concerning you, their cancellation, the limitation of processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the GDPR, as well as the opposition to the processing in the cases of legitimate interest of INEO. You also have the right to revoke your consent for unnecessary cookie without affecting the operation and functionality of the Site. Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
